Qualifications:
Debbie is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist, a Clinical Professional Counselor, and an Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She is qualified to deal with “dual diagnosis” clients within her scope of practice.  
Debbie is a solution focused cognitive behavioral therapist. She is generally more concerned with helping “fix the problem” as opposed to “fixing the blame”.
Faith-based counseling
Although her practice is open to all, she brings faith-based values and spirituality to bear in her counseling, when appropriate.

About the Counselor
Debbie, is a native of Las Vegas Nevada, and has long been active in church and community service.
She is a graduate from University of Nevada Las Vegas, holding a B.S. in Psychology, an M.S. in Counseling, and a supplemental M.S. degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has studied various supplemental counseling protocols at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, Mosten Mediation Training, Los Angeles, CA, and Alternative Solutions Mediation Services, Las Vegas, NV. 
She is a National Certified Counselor, and holds Nevada Board Accreditations as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Professional Counselor, and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Supervisor of CADC, MFT and CPC Interns. She has been Nevada licensed as a Substitute Teacher, and was approved for writing privileges at the University Medical Center, Las Vegas, NV, and taught graduate counseling courses at University of Phoenix. She is a Clinical Member of the National Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and a member of the National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors.
Debbie has a private counseling practice, but has also worked with various university and community counseling and outreach groups, with services ranging from general marriage, family and adolescent counseling, to court-mandated substance abuse, nicotine dependence treatment and hospital bedside addictions intervention.

Her personal interests include sailing, church service, hiking, yoga, massage therapy, humanitarian service, and gardening.

Fee schedule:
Initial 60-minute session--Diagnosis, Evaluaton and Treatment Plan--$200
Follow-up counseling sessions--$165
Co-pays and deductibles are payable at the time of service in Debbie's office.
We require 24-hour notice for cancellation, or the full session fee is charged, unless we can fill the time.

Credit Cards:
We accept most major credit cards.  Debbie is a solo-practitioner, and has a credit card machine in her office.
